Itinerary Gyeongbokgung Palace – Insadong Antique Street

Description The Founder of the Chosun Dynasty built the Gyeongbokgung Palace in the late 14th Century. You can see the majestic edifices of “Kunjongjon”, the spacious 2-story pavilion “Kyongheoru,” and “Hyangwonjong” which is nestled in the middle of the lotus pond.
Insadong Street is the ideal place for visitors who want to experience the true character of Korean art, with its subtle, enduring beauty. Once you are in Insa-dong, you will immediately be drawn to the small alleys lined with numerous shops and galleries, both tiny and spacious: antique shops, Korean stationery stores, frame shops, handicraft shops, pottery and porcelain shops, bookstores and painting studios, and art supply stores. In addition, restaurants and cafes serve traditional food and teas.

Itinerary Icheon Pottery Village – Korean Folk Village – Ginseng shop

Description: Icheon lies about 60km southeast of Seoul and is famous for its kilns and hot springs. For the past 1,000 years, Icheon has been a center for ceramic production in Korea. Icheon’s potters range from talented young artists producing fanciful pots and tea ware to established artisans specializing in the elaborate handcrafted blue-green celadon for which Korea is really famous.
Korean Folk Village was opened in 1974 as an open-air folk museum and interNational tourist attraction for both Korean and foreign visitors. It is the home of true Korean heritage where many features of the Korean culture have been collected and preserved for succeeding generations to learn about.

Description: Nami Island is well known as the film site of Korea's popular TV drama "Winter Sonata (Gyeoul Yeon-ga)" starring Bae Yong-Jun and Choi Ji-Woo.
Namiseom Island was created when Cheongpyeong Dam was constructed at the downstream of the Bukhangang River. The island, with the circumference of 6 km and covering an area of 430,000 sqm., is surrounded by a wall of luxuriant chestnut trees and poplars.
